These are some pinned images I’ve recently added to my Pinterest account. To look at them collectively, you can tell what mood I’m in and where my brain’s been at. // These monthly moodboard posts are always made up of nine images, and it always surprises me the nine that end up coming together. This month’s blast of colors is so different than last month’s subtle color scheme.
A lot of the above reflects how it would be if I were hosting a Thanksgiving party this year, and had the time and money to ‘Martha Stewart’ it up. It would probably be a kitschy and colorful -themed Thanksgiving, with pinks and purples thrown into the browns, yellows, and oranges. Graphic, painty leaves and sayings. I don’t know…
Also, can you feel two themes in particular subtly intertwined in this month’s moodboard? Again, I always smirk at the nine that I end up with, because I choose based on colors and size and how they tie together and what I’m feeling will work and all that, but afterwards – when I really look at the collection – I can so often feeeeeel like, ahhhh, there that emotion is, right there, tied into that corner.
Rebellion & exhaustion. Those are the undertones I see. Heavy eyelids, messy hair needing a trim with cats tangled up in it, and a rebellious heart, lately…getting pissed at expectations, and things not panning out, and wanting to act out because of it. // xoxo
