Project Life 2015 // Summer

I was wayyyy behind on my Project Life this year. I managed to document May, but life got in the way and June, July, and August went unrecorded. The only way I thought to catch up was to bunch together all the photos from Summer, add a few cute embellishments in spaces I left blank, call it a day and move on to the next…

Here are the resulting pages…

You might have already seen these grid layouts of my summer because I used them in my recent Summer 2015 . I want to remember… blog post.

As my whole album for 2015 had done, I used a combination of me & my BIG ideas products and Studio Calico products.

I wanted to make a spread about my new apartment, and love how the ‘Point A’ and ‘Point B’ geotag stickers (from this sticker pack) work with my new apartment progression pictures below.

I loved the idea of a grid of photos on one side, and a full page photo on the other…

…and of course my favorite photo from the summer would have its own page in my album. Super heart-eyes emoji. (Have you read the story of the way we met?)

I finished the second 6×8 Project Life album with a full page photo from August 31st. On it I included a floating image of the text message I received from John that morning, and how this special little corner of my apartment looked that day.

I also typed in a bit of journalling about the last day of August and how I felt going into a new season with John by my side. The start of September felt like a new start. A productive beginning for us as individuals and us as a couple.

The last page of the album consists of a 6×8 trimmed down Studio Calico paper reading ‘THE END’. I adhered a ‘Dear Summer’ card from a SC Project Life kit and wrote a farewell and thank you to all that Summer 2015 was for me.

Now on to album 3!
